Description¶
Luna is a web app Darcy built for CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) workflows. Hit productionization friction: accounts, database backend, and the usual auth/ops surface area made shipping harder than the core therapeutic UX.
2026-06-07: Logged on the wiki; not active. Sleep / apnea exploration moved to dedicated projects/sleep-apnea page (2026-06-13) — personal OSA research + planned discovery tool; Luna may still supply frontend shell if revived.
What was learned¶
- Core app idea was viable in prototype; hosted multi-user stack (accounts + DB) was the complexity spike.
- Any return should decide privacy posture (local-first vs clinical) and scope (wellness companion vs medical — stay out of regulated territory per projects/buddyline guardrails).
Open / next¶
- Document repo URL and stack when re-opened (not linked yet on tools-and-repos)
- Sleep apnea discovery tool — primary product direction on projects/sleep-apnea; Luna = optional shell
- Contrast with projects/happy-body (physical practice) and projects/buddyline (voice companion) — different surfaces, overlapping “calm + health” theme
Related¶

projects/happy-body — complementary physical-health lane
- projects/buddyline — voice / senior wellness (different demographic)
- goals — only if revisit clears mission + trust filters
